White 1 BMW Engine Restoration

All of the engine parts are being processed at our shop in Largo Florida. This is a major undertaking with literally thousands of parts having to be identified. We determine which version of the BMW 801 the parts are from, their condition and location. Then each part is cleaned, preserved, and rebuilt as necessary. This work is being conducted prior to initiating the engine rebuild at a yet to be determined shop.

This is Gerd Muhlbauer, the President of MT Propeller. He was visiting the Museum to accept payment in full for our overhauled FW 190 Propeller, sponsored in part by the fine people at MT Propeller. They do absolutely top quality work.
